Windows 7 feature review.

Windows Media Center is my favorite feature so far. If you have a tv tuner card, like these, you can watch cable on your computer, with built in DVR. Even if you don't, there are a variety of new, classic, and web based shows to watch.

XP Mode allows you to run applications in xp mode seamlessly. It doesn't work for me. But it isn't needed, so who cares?

Homegroup is an improvement upon home networking security and connectivity. File sharing is a breeze with other 7 machines and xbox 360. Any other machine is left in the dark, including xp machines.

Limited user accounts and passwords are quite effective at keeping troublesome users in check. But family Safety monitor is a bit too effective. It sometimes blocks sites for no reason I can understand at all. It irks me that it is based on your windows live account, requiring an online service to manage.
